The contactor is built into a cabinet and switches the circuit on/off when the door is opened/closed. When the door is opened, the light turns on, and when it is closed, the circuit breaks (when the switch is pressed). The switch does not work on the principle of a sensor (detecting movement) but as a switch (acts on pressure/mechanical movement), so it must be installed so that the front (door) pushes and releases it when opening and closing.
