When branching is required, a T-piece for flat air ducts is used, and for extending the duct run, a connector without a valve is applied. To prevent contaminated air from flowing back from the chimney, a connector with a built-in valve is recommended, acting as a backdraft damper for air ducts.

Stability and noise reduction are achieved by installing a clamp for flat air ducts, which secures the duct to the cabinet structure.

Since most extractor hoods have a round outlet, flexible air ducts for extraction are used, such as a flexible aluminum duct with adapter, or rigid solutions like round PVC air ducts. Aluminum air ducts for extractor hoods with diameters from Ø110 to Ø150 can be extended up to 2.5–3 m and allow easy shaping of angles.

For round duct systems, elbows for round air ducts are available, and for secure sealing, metal duct clamps are used.

For different diameters or non-standard connections, aluminum adapters or universal duct adapters are applied. The wall termination is completed using a wall connector with a rectangular opening or a wall connector with a round opening, which conceal irregularities around the chimney opening.
